Cyberpunk 2077 Is Delayed Again Until Dec. 10 Due To an Under-Calculation

Developer CD Projekt Red has delayed Cyberpunk 2077 for 21 days, from Nov. 19 to Dec. 10, which they stated Monday noon on Twitter.

CD Projekt Red said while Cyberpunk 2077 went "gold" Oct. 5, they "under-calculated" the final touches that need to be made for all nine versions of the game, which includes different versions of each console (i.e., Xbox Series X and S, etc.)

Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter Post

"Since Cyberpunk 2077 evolved towards almost being a next-gen title somewhere along the way, we need to make sure everything works and every version runs smoothly," director Adam Badowski and CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski wrote in the release. "We're aware it might seem unrealistic when someone says that 21 days can make any difference in such a massive and complex game, but they really do."

CD Projekt Red had already delayed Cyberpunk 2077 from April to September, then to November, even having a teaser trailer revealed back in E3 2013 - before the PS4 and Xbox One release.

However, Cyberpunk 2077 shows hope that there will be no more delays in reply to a tweet saying, "No more delays are happening."
