Get your HCG1 game-ready.

  1. Seat the microphone completely. The detachable mic fitting is not perfectly square. Rotate and insert it until the base sits flush with no gap. Incorrect seating can cause buzzing, cutouts or one-sided audio.
  2. Connect the 3.5 mm plug to the compatible headset jack on your controller, PC or notebook.
  3. Check inline controls. Set volume to a comfortable starting level and confirm the microphone is not muted.
  4. Open your platform audio settings and select the connected headset for game/chat audio where required.
  5. Run a 30-second mic test before joining your squad.
